How it works
Real books, not filler text
Story Time does not generate stories. Every book in it is a published picture book by a named author and illustrator, licensed openly so it can be given away, and imported one at a time after somebody has actually read it. That is a slower way to build a library and a much better one: children can tell the difference between a story written by a person and a story assembled out of words.
Each book is read aloud page by page, at a pace a child can follow, and a few comprehension questions come afterward rather than interrupting. A child who cannot read yet can still finish a book and still answer questions about it.
Letter Hunt runs alongside it: the shape of a letter, the sound it makes, and the words that start with it, in whichever language your child is playing in.

Where the books come from
StoryWeaver, credited properly
The picture books come from StoryWeaver, an open library run by Pratham Books, and they are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. That license is why they can be here for free, and it comes with an obligation: credit the people who made them. So every book in Joya ends on its own credits page. Author, illustrator, translator, publisher, the license itself, and a link back to the original on StoryWeaver, before a single question is asked.
